RE: Re: RE: Second Gear in US m37 Both the early and late trannies on the 37 are syncro'ed in 3rd & 4th which if you start off the line in 2nd gear your all set. The only confusion I've come across was people thinking the early 37 trannies were the same as the non syncro'ed "Crashbox" trannies...

The deuce already has a vent in the tank but to answer your question, when you turn the little tab on the cap 90o to where its tight on the lobes then the vent is off, turn it another 90o to where its free then the vent is on.
