some questions about the DB-2 timing advance solinoid.

The timing advance is the arm on the side of the pump......

dosnt even have a V8 in it anymore, i was just curious on what it was. I want to make the truck 24v (its 12v now). Cant this be done with one 24v alt and a bat equalizer?

explain? P.S. the stuff is removed now but i was curious what it was, it had 2 Leese Nevile 100amp 24v alts. Stupid thing never charged right.

what is this blue thing on my 1028

There is a Blue aluminum thing that is covered up with a plasitic sheild on my 1028's inner fender. WHAT IS IT? It looks to be a heat sink of some sort with wires atached to it. I know i need to get picks but i forgot today, sorry.
