What muffler will make the 6.2 sound like a diesel

Personally, I like the sound of the factory exhaust. Sounds just like a 6.2 diesel. As far as true duals, were the facory installed duals fake? Going to be hard to monitor the exhaust color going down the road with stacks. You can see the factory stuff with the mirrors. I'm not suggesting that...

Fresno, Ca. to Macon, Ga. Leaving June 5th ish

When I travel I like to take a friend or several. Another Steel Soldier of sorts. Be aware of each states laws regarding having these friends on board. I try to avoid friend unfriendly states but there is at least one there you can't avoid.

M1010 heavy modding ...would U do it?

I went camping a couple of weeks ago with mine. It was supposed to be cool so I packed my big buddy heater. The big buddy has 3 settings, 4000, 9000 and 18,000 btu. It wasn't until the temps got down to 35 that I could leave the heat on low. Too hot otherwise. I now have a small 12V ceiling...

    CUCV Glow plugs - 12 v or 24v?

I think folks would have better luck with the system if they took the time to understand it. I find it quite useful in many ways. I can run most of my cordless tools off the truck in the field if I burn through my batteries prematurely. I have never had any issue that would remotely make me...

    CUCV Glow plugs - 12 v or 24v?

I've had CUCVs for years and your observation seems solely based on your truck. In all the years of owning CUCVS I've only bought one starter. Wires only melt when parts fail, do the starter relay mod and forget melted wiring. Deleting the 24V function of the CUCV is not advised. Once...

4" Ram Air Scoop for deuce

Seems like if its a ram air it will ram water equally while cruising at break neck speed. Should there be some type of fluid drain somewhere with a check like motorcycle and ATV airboxes have?

    Deuce brake question

The single circuit brake system needs a systematic and routine inspection. In stock form they work pretty well. As long as you make certain that all of the lines are rust free and it has fresh hoses and wheel cylinders, the brakes will be very dependable.

Please Help to ID a vehicle

There was a truck dealer in Tampa that had 2 of those a great many years ago. Never really checked them out. They had the same fender flares and was a dually.

    Silly Newbie Question ...

Stanadyne FM100 Primary and Secondary filter install

Looks good. The Tygon look interesting as well. I have to do rubber lines on my wagon and the FM100. Still trying to decide on hose, don't want to do any of it twice.

    FRUSTRATION! (air in fuel line)

Is there any driveability issues? The clear line you speak of is the return line I'm assuming? My air leak on my bambalance was somewhere at the top of the tank. Still have to isolate it but for now its drawing off the aux pickup. I don't know if the M1009 has the aux pickup or where it's at

What CUCV do you have? Also need to know what an FIP is.
