There is no voltage on the small solenoid lead...not until you attempt to start truck and even than on,y as long as the ignition is in start position. This is how all starters work...
You need to work backwards from your starter and start checking and testing wires, the small solenoid wire is...
You very well fried other component...the starter can be jumped as long as you have 24v at the pos and neg stud at the starter, jumper across positive to the solenoid connectio.
ive seen many times the start box fry in your same situation.
Just put a breaker bar into the pintle and crank away, most folks dont have a 1 7/8 socket, but many have a pipe wrench or large channel locks, hit it with some heat and it’s off in seconds. I do a bumper a week, it’s become a tedious process on the M1123’s...
Its your truck, do as you wish, just understand that your issues are still alive and well, they can and will ultimately rear there ugly heads when the actual cause unmasks itself later in life, meaning....your ground harness fix is a symptom, not a cure. I’ve used ground harnesses as part of...
No, and the only ground issues are due to the first auction trucks from 99 that were all USMC trucks.
The issues were salt water exposure, PCB’s that were garbage and not ground fault intolerant, poor long term
storage preparation.
The A2 trucks that you see now from reset and 10yrs of storage...
that panal is utterly worthless....you will want it gone after the 5 ot 6th time you have to remove it for doing anything on that side of the truck. The way it’s attached to the throttle lock makes it an absolute PITA to install quickly
Huh? All M11XX series trucks have the rear seat base channels already installed into the floor, the TCM is actually secured to the floor onto the seat base channels.
Title is $100, the SF97 is $50...so If you have an SF97, it’s an additional $100 to get the title.
GP uses the SF97 to convert to a title...so yes, a title is effectively $150
There is no ability to add the SF97 at checkout for a vehicle if:
1. No model year is listed in auction
2. No odometer...
CPS and Temp sender wires are integrated into the A2 engine harness....make sure someone didn’t cut that branch off or installed an engine harness from an A0/A1 truck. The A2 harness will also have the TPS connetc ion as well up at the passenger side of the injection pump.
