No ideas here but what I would do in your situation when it won't start is to remove all 6 spark plugs and reattach the cables and see if you have a nice blue spark at all 6 plugs.
As founding member of the M105 trailer haters of America, I will encourage you to pass on these pain in the butt trailers that have these crappy qualities:

Yup GM axles from the M135 or M211 deuce cargo trucks. Those locking hubs are also available but very expensive. Not really sure why anyone would want to use those axles on a M715.
If you have the old school 6 lug wheels you have the Dana 60/70. Pictures will help a lot. The locking hubs for the factory axle are available but not easy to find.
Carburetor flooding sounds like. Float needle gets stuck open with trash in the fuel line. Mine used to do that until I rebuilt the fuel system end to end.
