compressed air is on EVERY semi you see and LOTS or medium dutys, lots of mv's have air heck even pontiac aztecs have on board air...

-94-02 dodge truck pitman arm = $5-15 Junkyard
-Aftermarket steering arm Blank or finished = +/- $50 Ebay
-Drag link (tube style adjuster not split collar) from 80's chevy 4x4 = +/- $10 junkyard
2wd gearbox from 80's chevy truck (or if your good you can use the sector shaft...
Im with the paper filters on this one. Have a couple of K&N's and im not sold on them. Good if you want one more thing to do when you change your oil......Seen alot of over-oiled ones contaminate MAF sensors as well

And before anyone comments on where to find air, there are a hel* of alot more trucks on the roads with compressed air onboard than there are with a 24v supply.
Never seen a #2 545. all of the ones i have come across are #3. The deuce has a #2 belhousing with an adapter ring to make it fit the SMALLER #3.
As for the flywheel, you should be able to make one to fit. The ring gear should be able to be removed from the original flywheel.
Looks good but there is one lil problem that should be mentioned. In the second set of pics it looks as if you welded over the original metal as opposed to cuting it out? (mabye it isnt, i cant tell) a common problem with repairs on these trucks if the pinch weld that the weather strip hooks to...
Ok, i am confused.......... you guys want HEAVIER hubs? WHY? You want to go through all this work to have 10 lug wheels? Just buy a 5-ton. Or as veinotte mentioned, find some f106 axles with the pattern you want. There stronger anyways.:roll:
