Alas, clinto, while that might work some, I suspect its not going to work right. I can tell you when I do it behind the scenes, its a ROYAL PITA, so I avoid doing it. The name has to be changed in a couple of spots. I PM'd TXSG about the issue.
RE: Yep
Welcome to the deuce forum Jeff... glad you could make it [thumbzup]
Price has gone up on them since I got mine 3 years ago... (one of these days I will actuall install it!)
Actually the dash lense from a truck with guages will not work on the one with the lights. put them side by side, you will see ;-) there is no lens over the lights, while it goes over the guages.
Rule # 1 when using alternative fuels..... Filter the crap out of your fuel first!! Rule # 2, be prepared for the bio-fuel to clean your fuel tank spotless (guess where all the junk goes!)
I did this on an old truck of mine. all I needed to do, was make a bracket to go between the pumpkin, and the linkage, such that it moved it up equivalent to the left.
I would suggest attempting to keep it. messing with brake design is usually a bad idea.
RE: Put 1050 CA 875 CCA in mine but took some mods
Honestly, for a CUCV, I would not use the 6tl's, they are huge, and heavy, and wreak havoc on the innerfender.
