I am pretty sure the CUCV pulls some tach info from the alternators. Problem is... we dont know what the signal is it provides... for a remote start sense, it might work. Its just looking to understand that the engine is running...

I highly doubt LMC will have the CUCV cap.

Sounds to me... like your truck was setup 12v before? (at some point or another?) I suspect you have fried the coil.

Rampli... the twice that my flasher broke... it would allow me to do just that. I would suspect you have a bad flasher. (although I have seen other bad ones that dont come on at all)

I have noticed it all of a sudden too.... I will see if I can figure it out...
