Without a trailer under it to provide braking there is no safe way to flat tow a deuce with a 3/4t truck. It will push you right thru any intersection and spin you around at the first turn.
A little of both. In the GL pic the leg was not pinned right and swung forward. (pic 1) But after looking at it friday I can see its foot is bent. (pic 2) Its rusted pretty good at the bends so Im thinking it got bent before it made it to GL. All in all its in pretty good shape. Little rust in...
Outside to outside the rear duals are 91 inches +/-
If you remove the outside wheel on each side you should be in the 68 inch range.
Edit: Welcome to the site. Good luck with the auction.
Must have the upgraded springs (heavier)
I was out there today checking out my trailer and some up-coming stuff.
They are a pretty easy crew to work with.
I guess he's not really interested in making any money. The first time I went over there I asked about "Army" trucks and he just showed me the ones behind the shop. I never knew he had the M1009's, A3, or any trucks by the river bank. :?

Do NOT put blocks in the front. The latteral forces on the front suspension while turning will make it spit those blocks out and youll end up killing yourself or someone else.
Moving the shackle to the front will not raise the suspension. (and makes for a harsher ride)

I wish I could put it as...
