As soon as I can afford to I plan on getting the Firestone 831's in 11x20. There are many different style 11x20's that can still be run as duals. Off the top of my head there are 2 Firestone types, 2 Goodyear and the Michelins.
Everything I've heard is that there are 300+/- of these trucks. They are rare. I sold mine because I have to move in 4 months, and picked my top choices to keep. In a few years, I have no doubt the duallys will be worth quite a bit.
Just don't use a swivel fitting on the top of the master cylinder, it will leak. You will still have brakes though. It will leak to the M/C level then stop.
Kenny,
Do you have a link to that build? I can't find it. It was great work but with the amount of time involved, it would have been cheaper to get a medium.
I don't know what to think of how it's mounted. Doesn't look that strong to me. For the $450 I paid for my medium bar, the liability of a homebuilt just isn't worth it to me.
That plate is exactly like the plate in the M48 cab from Montana. It is different from the earlier plate from mine though. Haven't decided if i'll reproduce the plate I have or just use one of these.
Call Gary Hebbing in IL. I would GUESS different, only because I never heard of them being the same but really have no clue. For M35 shoes go on ebay motors and search M35 Brake and you should get some cheap. Also you could just compare part numbers.
