    For a fuel guage that doesnt read correctly/at all, the easiest thing to do is pull the connections out from the back of it and reseat them. Then tighten up the ground "clamp" that grounds the guage/holds the guage in the cluster panel. That usually fixes non reading gauge problems.

    Same NSN's for the wood and fiberglass.. When Uncle decided to change from wood to fiberglass, he just issued out the wood ones until they were all gone... So they kept all the same NSN's.

    Lex, Best bet is to find a set used or at a Rally.. The manufacturer doesnt make them anymore. I went down that road a while back, and then found a NOS set at a MV show for $50.... Or keep your eyes on GL for the piles of them that show up in PA occasionally....

    A FUPP is a Full Up Power Pack. Has both the engine and tranny in a "drop in" ready to go state.

    I like the M900 series 5 ton antenna mount on the fender. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/military-radios-other-electronics/11231-deuce-radio-antenna-5-ton-style.html The mounts are on ebay from time to time.
