One thing to consider... The genset didnt know who was using it, and perhaps it was going to burn anyway, no matter if the owner or a borrower was using it at the time... Regardless, I dont lend my stuff out unless I am RIGHT THERE with it.
A bunch of M901's are still running around at NTC.. The Army made them into OPFOR tracks by adding turret from a Bradley... They were made to represent BMP-2's..
The linked article mistakenly says they are M113's, but they were ITV's...
your local electrical supply house WONT have the ends.. And you dont want to buy them from AB Connector. Big $$$$$$$$....
Get them yourself, either the ends and get some welding cable and DIY, or buy them complete off ebay or a member here...
Also, 12 footers are about useless, 20's are the...
What you really need to do is consult the TM that was written for THAT truck.. The deuce's PTO can be live all the time, regardless of what gear the tranny is in, so there may not be a need to put it on a forward gear for this case....
I think the pump clutch lever may have something to do...
At this stage, I think he has a while to go before he starts messing with foam....
Can you post some pics of the pump panel, that way we can help you with what lever to operate....
Best thing to do is find a firefighter who is a pump operator.. You can easily destroy the pump if you dont know what your doing... Make sure your in the right "setting" for the PTO. Does the driveshaft to the pump turn? You have water in the tank, and the tank to pump lever works, correct...
