Ive searched. I found only one post that stated a std deuce bed weighs 2000lbs. I could find no other posts to back this up. Is this correct? Im getting ready to pull the bed off my deuce and I have access to a shop built A-frame and chain hoist but I would like to know how much the bed weighs...

Get a towbar and just tow one with the other. Check the brakes on both trucks, hook up the air lines and pull the axles out of the towed truck.

Best advice to license and ins. is to do a search and look for members that are from MO and contact them. Almost every state had different rules and regs. so your answers here will vary.

Well maybe some SS taxpayers need to set up an appointment with the C.O. and the press to let him know just who is paying to move trucks off his base just so they can be sold somewhere else at a loss to the taxpayers. If GL has the facilities and the personel to auction off surplus from there...
