    The old seal is an aftermarket seal, the new seal is the POS 2 piece seal, the rubber is a dust boot that goes on the halfshaft itself after the seal is installed. That new seal does not look correct, the seal should be thinner IIRC...but I won’t and don’t use the 2 piece. I only use the OEM...

    6.5NA A2 is missing the connection to the transmission kickdow switch, the A2 also has TPS connector. 6.2 and 6.5 detuned v-belt are the same engine harness.

    was just going to say that very same thing....I’ve used rear winch on the front and had to rewind the cable to pay out from the bottom.

    The fan should only come on for 2 reasons...lack of pressure or lack of voltage. Nothing else.

    The holes were plugged during rebuild of the motor, for some odd reason they removed the tube and plugged the hole. non rebuilt motors I have, all have a working drain hole. This drain clogs almost instantly if anything get in the valley of the motor. its a piss poor design.

    Where did you buy the thermostatic switch? If it not OEM they are chinese and set at 185.

    it does make a difference how the block are installed, the blocks are flat on one side and not the other, the flat side faces toward the inside of the truck. The next thing that will cause out of alignment issues is the placement of the roof.

    Your injection pump is bad, very common on these trucks, I’ve replaced many. Folks need to remember they sat for 10yrs In the desert after reset. i drain all fuel from tank and inspect, replace fuel filter, drain back lines etc...

    Govt didn’t use centering washers..that’s an H1 Hummer thing. also...the tires are Radial Non-directional and are actually staggered from the factory, so unless you did this for just Looks, it serves no purpose.
