Yet More coolant issues! 84' M923

If you bolted the fan always on and it is in fact always spinning and you have proper coolant level with a clean flushed cooling system and have verified proper coolant flow there really isnt too much else that it can be. It is possible the fan shutter is leaking air into the cooling system and...

Yet More coolant issues! 84' M923

Sounds like internal engine issues. If the heater blows out heat then coolant is circulating. You can have a good mechanic check the coolant for combustion mix.

No Longer Stuck here w/no primary air, safe to drive home?

If your expello valve was temporarily stuck it will stick again. Lubricate it then replace the air dryer when you get home.

No Longer Stuck here w/no primary air, safe to drive home?

Check your air dryer expello valve. There are 2 valves by the wet tank for primary and secondary air. Check and make sure the 4 petcocks are closed. There are also check valves between the air dryer and tanks that can freeze up. Sometimes you can tap on them and get it free. Is there a...

Air horns to replace stock ones

I did it 2 years ago. The front C mount came with the horn I bent a piece of aluminum around the air intake to hold it there. The air plumbing came from my local plumbing supply house. I tapped in after the air solenoid so it works exactly as the originals. If its easier you can just eliminate...

Air horns to replace stock ones

I piggyback a single grover stutter tone horn off the existing ones. Its loud, sounds just like a fire engine and there are no air supply issues.

    M939A2 CTIS PCU solenoid replacement

On the tank its an on-off switch. The unit with 3 wires on the valve body is a transducer which reads the current tire pressure. Or at least its supposed to.

    M939A2 (M923A2) wheel valve rebuild

Doing a pressure check on 15-20 minute intervals is normal. There are 2 styles of controllers. One that the lights are always on with the truck and one that the lights are only on when the light switch is on. The second being newer and I believe it has a newer program. In my experience the newer...
