There is a place in the transmission to put a reversing switch. I usually put a relay in the battery box to control it. The switches are cheap like 20 bucks on the bay.

I have found some have it on the frame and some don't. If it's a rebuild it will usually have a serial on the data plate and then a rebuild plate by the drivers door with the matching serial number. Unfortunately sometimes the dash data plate is all there is.
Since you are in AZ and GL is also in AZ why don't you pay them a visit. They are a free for all. That's what you get with a bunch of minimum wage employees at remote locations who could care less or are too dumb to know better. Massive amounts of stuff goes missing. Several sites have have been...
They have never been in the dmv system before. You might get away with making a bill of sale from you to them. As long as they are more than 25 years old I don't see how dmv can complain. It would be different for something that had been in the nationwide dmv computer system prior, then the new...
Here in CT they usually won't issue a trailer title your reg cert is the "title" and can be used to transfer. It may be different for high value trailers like a 5th wheel motor home but I have had some decent size trailers before here and was never issued a title.

I still have the one I cooked. The IP has a metal wire locking part of the throttle in a fixed position. I always thought the hand throttle was used to make minor adjustments. The Precise versions have a solenoid control in the place of the metal wire to keep the gen more stable. I think the...
It cant hurt to do a coolant flush on your truck. There are several gaskets needed for a thermostats swap. I was planning on doing it myself the only one who had most of the stuff was the Cummins dealer and it wasnt cheap.
There is a fanstat control on the upper radiator hose. When the coolant gets to a certain temp the fan comes on. It moves alot of air so generally it dosnt run for long before the coolant temp drops back down and the fan shuts off. If your thermostats (there are 2 on the A2) were stuck closed...
Which 5-ton? You have to check the hose clamps they do have a habit of working loose a little sometimes. Maybe the metal stretches a bit. A little snugging up here and there will usually fix that. Too tight you will break the clamp. Been there done that. Heater cores go bad. If your thermostat...
Yup the non dod lots at have the higher percentage. I only saw the extra fee thing at one site. I bought some stuff at a local company GL was liquidating they actually had several GL employees on site handling the pickups. I can see charging more when you have to send out people to manage something.
