There is no such thing as an ECV engine harness per sey...it's just a turbo engine harness, the body harness is either A2 or ECV. The turbo harness will not have a crank position sensor lead, they moved it into the ECV body harness.
The biggest issue i have is that you don't offer any sort of shipping prep or allow for pickup from a shipping carrier,
so all your Sales are limited to local pickup only. The single pallet the engines and trans sit on will never be allowed to ship as there is far to much overhang, not to...
And finally, finished a 6.5NA GEp motor with 4L80E,242 comversion for a customer...simply amazing what an extra gear makes. Shifts like a dream, hauls a**.
the GEP came from southern metals...one of the take outs, had about 6800 miles on it. Full serpintine setup.
Getting frame done on M1151 with Geared fan drive, this truck will have full frag 5 package, this frame is the 3 piece version, wilwood brakes, glycol cooled diffs, sheopard steering gear...it's gonna be a bad boy when done.
No, I seriously doubt it....like I've said in the past, this is a business, they aren't dumping 50,000 of them at one time....you will be spoon fed and like it....lol
why would anyone think, unless your kidding, that they would ever sell for $100?
they are worth more then that at scrap value, they could part them out and make even more...just sayin.
the problem is it takes one idiot to screw it all up for the masses....case in point, the entire US Navy is prohibited from consuming alcohol in Japan due to literally a few losers. So now, everyone will suffer....
A secret source told me that GP Will buy back all the trucks that anyone paid over $500.00 for so that the buyer does not lose any money....it's part of the IRonclad guarantee and the roll out for an even newer warranty campaign called "No customer left behind"
:roll::roll::roll:
Both the type 9 and the water based are pretty smooth, but that can be controlled through the size of your tip.
The WB CARC does require an activator, the solvent based singal stage CARC does not, you can reduce it with MEK or acetone. I personally only use the solvent based, as it is cheaper...
Fired up the new GEP 6.5 motor with 4L80E factory conversion yesterday....she runs like a raped ape and shifts beutiful.
This customer will be a happy camper...at least till he gets the bill anyway...
And no one is ever going to know....GP knows how many trucks they have sold, and they know how many they have on hand and are most likely contracted to sell, but do you really think they are going to tell us? Yea...not gonna happen.
that would be showing there poker hand....and that is not smart...

Let me add something for the newbs, this lock washer everyone refers too is not the problem, it's the fact that they went from a single bent tab to secure the spindle nut to a spindle nut that has 2 tabs bent over to secure the nut....so just checking will do you no good unless you know what to...
i can't say I recommend filling the hub through half shaft bolt access hole is the right thing to do...that's is why there is a fill plug on the hub plate, and it only gets filled to the bottom of the fill plug.
you are also leaving a lot of old fluid in the hub by not draining from the drain...
