Pull the upper outer plug that accesses the 3/8 bolt that secures the end of the half shaft...make sure this has a lock washer and is tight. If the lock washer broke off, it falls in between the hub casting and the upper outer bearing and destroys it...seen it many times. That's why you must use...
m1025/26 as I said...has newer 6.5 motor, as can be seen from the GEP sticker on the valve cover, plus the motor is all black, indicating rebuild. The other dead giveaway that's it's at least authentic is the rocker Panel armor, can't tell if it's basic or supplemental from pics, but the X doors...
Way to much of a PITA to get it in and out only to find the work you do might not fix it and your right back at it putting In a new pump. Bite the bullet and get the pump rebuilt. I leave some things to the experts...injector pumps is number one on that list. You should have a 4523 or 4524 pump...
That's what I'm thinking...just don't have one to compare too. My wipers sit at the very edge of the lower WS.
once on, they work fine...but they don't store back to the same rest position.
how far down do they start and stop? Is there even a final rest position when off?
Anyone have issues with the windsheild wipers not resetting to the rest position when turned off? My positions seem to work, intermittent, slow, fast, but when turned to off, rests in almost the upright position.

the gauges don't read exact...the 60 amp can be dialed in.
just start the truck and check at the batteries...will be 27.5 to 28.5.
just needs to be a few volts above 25 or so volts.
your a Mog guy, that's cute, but it don't float my boat...the HMMWV is a late 1970's design...the truck involved was a rag top m998...you ever seen an M151 roll over? I have...several times in the last 30yrs, ain't much left of the jeep, much less the occupants. Not to mention M35's and anything...
When these wire burn up, they Grenade internally, they can look fine on the outside unless burnt really bad, it take a good cooking before the insulation melts away and exposes any bare wire. The way to tell is to see if the insulation is really soft.
the other problem is of the wire burnt in a...
Have you ever changed it? If not, drain it and buy 2 gallons and get the pump that goes on the gallon jugs...fill till it comes out the fill hole....done.
pumps available at all auto stores...
That fan clutch works on the same principle as a HMMWV, what happens to them is the 3 internal clutch pads kind of fuse themselves to the housing...before I install even NOS ones into a truck,I air them up and beat on the back side with a dead blow hammer till you see the unit separate, it only...
The mods should really create a new forum for the HMMWV as they did for other vehicles on mods of a particular vehicle.
a sub forum per say....if it ain't NOS and in the TM's, it belongs elsewhere.
FWIW....
If anyone has a particular question about the install, just ask and I will translate from the 8 page doc.
