every truck on your signature line takes 15w-40
diesel engines use a formula designed for these engines.
i wouldn't use anything else...my 2016 Duramax takes 15w-40
As long as you have a head lock your ok...these trucks were not designed to 65-70. Even my H1 at 65 exhibits issues.
just get a good balance job and install BFG's or MTR's....they ride soooo much nicer than the MT's.
IMO, the BFG's are the best...I like the RF's IJ because I don't carry a spare...
if you remove the cover from a factory job, there is about a 1/4in from the edges.
you cut the hole parallel to the valley just before it slopes up..per my MWO doc, the hole is 6.37in wide by 7.0in long.
you are literally cutting it along the deck cross member beam on the width side...
I install these all the time, I just use a piece of deck panel cut to fit.
if the tank is in the truck, just start with some cuts to get a good size piece out but error on the side of caution on where to start the cut. Once it's out, you can see better where to cut, go very very shallow or you...
Green label box does not Require a TSU in the water crossover...this box too has a rather spotty past.
i would disconnect the battery's for a few minutes and see if the box resets. But most likely it's taking a crap on you.
heres the deal on the ground harness....the trucks you are buying don't...
IIRC it's just a 3/8 pipe plug...you can get them at any hardware store. Brass, galvanized, copper....makes no diff.
but remember, the plugs from the hardware store don't have the magnet...not a big deal IMO.
i personally have and use the ones with the magnet....these are also available all over...
more then one way to skin a cat....just removed 3 Monday.
the plug is soft, it literally takes 5-10secs to drill it. Let it drain and then hit it with heat again, insert easy out and it's out...it's never failed me. I have also had luck with just heat and vice grips on the exposed threads, that...
its hit or miss whether that plate was installed as part of the MWO or not....not sure why, maybe cuz it's a PITA.
im sure it actually does something to reinforce the area, the thing is, it's not installed in the brand new body's.
so it might have been deemed worthless. The additional plate on...
I find that most of what I can find at the auto stores is rebuilt and rather junky....or just plain junk.
another reason I try to stick with NOS. but steering gears can get quite pricey....I went that route once, got a rebuilt gear by Cardone at O'reillys....it looked like a 15yr HS auto shop...
People need to be careful on those smoke launchers....they are considered a destructive device if not Demil correctly.
It's basically a Mortar....better safe then sorry.
