If you have the old first series 12 bolt 2 piece, they use a larger balck o-ring I beleive...the newer 12 bolt with the centering hole and the 24 bolt rims take a smaller red o-ring.
dont confuse with the large o-ring used in the early 8 bolt split rim.
what color were your o-rings?

The one piece H1 rims had out of round issues...they are not desirable...I have a set with tires on them for sale.
had them for years...find a set of Cepeks 1 piece aluminums and paint them black.
You don't want to run with out a bead lock on the military rims....the run flats act as a bead lock. Not sure what the big deal is on split rims at shops other then ignorance....but I'm sure liability is in there somewhere.
i don't have enough room to post the story's from myself and customers...
NOt sure using super glue was a good idea....I have mounted more tires on 12 and 24 bolt rims then I can count, I persoanlly use Grease or RTV to hold the o-ring in place during assy. As well, I use regular nuts on the studs till the o-ring is seated so as not to vibrate loose from the impact...
They have to be facing in the direction that they would unreel if installed...either fully up or facing down.
dont pull hard or fast....nice, slow and easy....it locks on inertia.
I supervise the loading of just about anything on military and commercial aircraft...one of which is rolling stock. HMMWV's are secured wIth MB1's or MB2's with 2 front and 2 aft, crossed....the front and rear bumper shackles are used. An mb1 has a 10k rating per..an MB2 has 20k rating....just...
The 500.00 for a set are Chinese.....they are ok for the money. But look for NOS if you want correct ones.
the NOS are CARC black....the Chinese are blued and rust instantly on the outside...so paint them.
there are 3 you will need...left front, right front and 2 of the same for the rear. The...
When you add a fording kit, the intake gets a large rubber elbow and the rubber cap you have, this prevent any water intrusion. Non fording equipped "army trucks" have no rubber elbow, they have a metal sleeve that screws to the body and the intake cap get hose clamped onto. The cap on the...
Short body....you can remove one of your injectors and get the number off of it. Either Bosch or Delphi.
plenty of NOS out there, I would not bother with napa brand. At least. I never have.
i see you have a milemarker winch plumbed in...make sure it's bled out, and plumbed up correctly. The install instructions call specifically for certain port on the manifold to go where it need too...that manifold appear to be for a rear winch.
do you have a front and rear winch?
Not sure what you mean about drilling the PS pump....nothing gets drilled for the fording kit...unless you men the PS cap which get at vent. Since it's the brakes causing the wheels to stop turning....as it should, and it's spinning when off, then the issue is when the pump is supplying pressure...
I worked all weekend with active duty army mechanics on a no start issue on a hmmwv, they were freaking clueless.
so I don't hold out much hope that this vendors are much better....
if if I read this correclty, they drove this truck 15miles with no fluids in the tcase and diffs, if it were me...
