i take 2 batteries on all my recoveries, many times used them to jump the truck.

you can run the 12v tap off the alternator to the rear battery, then tap off that battery for your constant 12volts, this way you will alway have 12v power to a power strip on the radio tray. This is how all hmmwv's are wired from the factory running the 4L80E, the TCM is 12volts and terminates...
you should drop the tank to install the access plate...I imstall this on all my trucks and any customer truck I build.
but this only allows the fuel sender or tank vent to be changed...not remove the plate itself to chane the seal.
He is talking about a power stroke, not a 4 or 6BT...someone correct me, but I think that powerstroke has a lot more electronics., like the Dirtymax.
