As for where Americans would be today. You have got be be kidding me, exactly where we are, that's where. Can't go any farther as I can't risk getting banned for my own b1tching....
While SS taking credit card payments would open the site up to PCI-DSS requirements the reason that Yahoo and Gmail get away with it is that you can't control what an idiot will do with his/her financial information. I do not believe that PCI-DSS will put SS into the food chain if a user scans...
I just had to put that line back on last yesterday while putting the truck back together. If I were keeping the truck that would be one of those simple mods to do. (Re-routing the line and making it all hose from the primary over to the pump.)
I don't even think the crack in the block had anything to do with the knock. Gimpy could not see anything hitting the block on the inside and I couldn't either. The crack may have been there for a while.
Big thanks to Gimpy and JW4x4 for this weekend on the truck. It lives and yes the 2x6 is on the fender for obvious reasons and yes we found out all the exhaust has a tendency to go through the doghouse into the cab when you put the pipes on. :-)

When I got my magnetic block heaters I also picked up two 3-1 temperature outlets that allow power through when it gets below about 40 degrees. That way I can plug everything in and the heater only come on when it is cold and I don't have to worry about it.
