Sorry But Go back to Fed 22 and 23, 2 separate posts and 2 different Members complained about Power and Gutlessness. One is an Owner of a 98 TD Hummer.
:P
this truck can sit for 3 months and start at the flip of the switch. It's an LDT465 1D if memory serves me correctly, Turbo of course, No winch.
Only thing I know will need to be done at some point is to rebuild or replace the Airpack..I think thats what it is called....for the Brakes, It seaps...
I need to make some cash for another project....I have my M35A2 in Nor Calif. Follow the WWW link on my profile if you want to see old pics.
I need to get new pics after it stops raining.
This is a Nice Deuce, No rust,Calif Truck, All Fluids and Filters changed one Month ago.
Anyone in for it...
I guess that good for us who have them with a Title then...No?
I am putting mine up next week on E-bay..no cuz of this though...I need money for another Project.
I here people complain about the power in Hummers and HMMWV's....If you get your HMMWV or Hummer stuck it was for 1 or 2 reasons..you do not know how to drive it or you are really stuck.
Max torque on the 6.5 TD is 385ft lbs, that is achieved @ 1800 rpm, Thats just about Double it's Idle Speed...
I had noticed sometime back that all the M35's were being sold as residue and had no SF97 being issued. Seemed about 50/50, now none seem to get an SF97.
I was told that is was a hassle for them....Has anything offical been said from Gov Liq?
I need to know what the TP is on the M1009, I am wanting to stencil the fenders...what is front and back TP?
Also want to stencil Military Police in correct spots as well, what is the correct size,Location on the M1009.
My M1009 came from UTES in Utah and was a MP truck...I have all the paper...
I allready Miss it! I'm allready thinkin I shoulda kept that truck :(
But Damon is the man for that truck, Just ordered 4 gallons of 34094 to paint my M35A2 as soon as the whather permits. I'll get you all a before and after pic.
Nice to have met you and your Buds! call or write if you need...
I am not concerned about the load on the single battery though, the Glow plugs really only get used once or twice a day anyway, thats really not that much to ask for, then the battery is replenished anyway from being charged...I mean if you went to 12v on the whole truck you can either go singal...
Not sure why you would go through with all of this?
After my 8 plugs got Nuked I changed over to 12v AC60G AC Delco GP's, removed the Ballast resistor and wired the Glow plug relay direct to the 12v block just above the Glow Plug relay, Truck fires right up, the GP light comes on for about 7-15...
The Barrel just unscrews, it threads in at the barrel support. I do not have the SIM fore option, just the Dummy, I have a real Semi .50 if I want a real bang....I have a MK19 being built as well by IRAC.
Yes, I am the Same Hummerguy, The M35A2 Sold on E-bay on Xmas Day.
The Gentleman is on the M35 Forum.
I got the Irac M2 .50 cal yesterday, the shipping crate was built for it.
Pretty simple, as soon as my batteries charge up I will take a pic and post it.
