FWIW, I was going through the stack of papers that was in the map compartment of the m35a2 I just picked up at Redstone and it came from a NG unit in Lima,OH.
According to David Doyle's article your s/n says it's a '68-'69 but your registration number is says '72+.
Kaiser and AM General s/n will both be on the front drivers side frame rail but some of the earlier trucks had the number on the pass. side.
try posting your info here and see what...
Every hyd. clutch I've seen didn't adjust. It either works or it don't. If your clutch is slipping you'll have to replace it. If it won't release it could be your hyd. system.
It's accually a Trail King but operates like a Landoll. Only difference is the bed raises right behind the neck and becomes even with the neck in the up position. Unlike the Landoll where the neck and all raises when it tilts.
Without the accual specs this would be the best way. Find out the surface of the top of the valve. Then figure how many pounds of pressure it takes to open the valve ( this could be as simple as taking the valve cover off and applying weight to the valve stem untill it opens). Then divide the...
If you don't print it out how do you sign it?
I can understand printing it, signing it, and then scanning it to send through e-mail but there's no way to sign it if you never print it out.
No. In the pic the top of the stack on the front truck is right at 13' 6" but it's up on the neck. I've hauled dueces with cargo cover in the flat with no problem either.
That number doesn't seem right to me. The number starting with "NK" is your registration number but I've never seen one with that many letters in it. The VIN should be something like 0*25-***** if it's a M35A2 WO/W. Check the drivers side frame rail for the VIN.
Nice trucks :-D.
Go ahead and fill out your EUC. You'll get a e-mail shortly requesting the EUC so go ahead and fill it out so you can send it right away. They will ask you to sign and send in a export letter also (saying you won't export the truck). Then all you do is sit back and wait...
Every MV I've ever sold I hated to watch it leave . I even broke down and hauled one to it's death at the scrap yard but it was tired and old and donated some of it's organs. That one was the hardest one to watch the grapple grab it and sling it onto the pile.
Can't help you with the batteries but dead ones shouldn't be too hard to find.
Batteries are toxic but there's alot worse hosehold items that get poured down the drain every day .
Could have been. I didn't look at it that close but it had a Diverco tag on it with S/N, model number, and contract number. I want to think the contract number was a 1987 contract. The model number was nothing like a Spicer number.
