HMMWV with RV windows in the doors

I am building fake armor doors for a couple of my trucks. The window swings out like the original armored doors and they use the same latch hardware, plus these are convertible to half doors at a fraction of the weight.

HMMWV with RV windows in the doors

I have a few sets of really nice X doors but considering the prices the're fetching these days, I'm afraid to use them.

HMMWV with RV windows in the doors

Thank you. It's a 249 prototype we've been working on a few years. The mount pictured was developed for use in helicopters, an idea that was came up with the day we shot this video. Mk46 fired from a AH-6

HMMWV with RV windows in the doors

So once you put aluminum doors with RV windows in them, does that make the HMMWV an RV even if you take them off again? Asking for @patracy

Looking for Vietnam era pics of V100's with 504th

I was forwarded a link to this M113 which bears the same name "Blood Sweat and Tears" and the caption associated with the photo reads "We had a slight problem one day. Bravo Co., 4th Bn., 23 Inf. Reg., 25th Inf. Div. 1970" Although it isn't the photo of our V100 I had been searching for, it...

    WTK: LMTV Shock absorber options

My high pinion axle is a modified 6x6 axle. My intentions was to purchase a ready to use axle and I am confident the gentleman who sold it as such thought that was what he had. After having to cut five of the six brackets off and properly locate them, I can now consider myself qualified to do...

    WTK: LMTV Shock absorber options

Has anyone came up with a cross reference for shock absorbers for LMTV? I see Fox has some but they're evidently in limited supplies.

    Ferret parts availability

The last owner wanted this Ferret for occasional parades and advertisement for his business so he had a gentleman fab up a fake turret using a turret bearing that was used on M26 and M27 cupolas. Easily removed if desired, but I will leave it alone until I either get around to it or sell it...

    Repro ammo cans for V100

I bought two from a machinegun manufacturer and asked if he would consider selling more as folks asked for them, and was told he only keeps enough stock for his projects and was trying to help me out when he sold me mine. Keep in mind that the usual surplus supplies are drying up.

Lost and Found, a 50+ year journey

Here is a photo of a friend of mine named Ronnie Gay right after we received the Blood Sweat and Tears V100. Being a retired law enforcement officer himself, he was always interested in our projects here at the shop, and this former police vehicle was no exception. A natural story teller, Ronnie...
