I am building fake armor doors for a couple of my trucks. The window swings out like the original armored doors and they use the same latch hardware, plus these are convertible to half doors at a fraction of the weight.

The last owner wanted this Ferret for occasional parades and advertisement for his business so he had a gentleman fab up a fake turret using a turret bearing that was used on M26 and M27 cupolas. Easily removed if desired, but I will leave it alone until I either get around to it or sell it...
I bought two from a machinegun manufacturer and asked if he would consider selling more as folks asked for them, and was told he only keeps enough stock for his projects and was trying to help me out when he sold me mine. Keep in mind that the usual surplus supplies are drying up.
Making progress on the turret parts. The original finish on this fire control box was removed and white Cerakote and laser engraving/color fill replaced the ink stamped markings. This control box mounted on the traversing gearbox and controlled the twin M73 mg's
