So if any else is looking for an alternate solution, this what I decided to do after looking at other Wabco ABS Modulators and seeing they used a rubber washer on the exit port I figured I would copy that idea.
Purchased some 1/16” thick rubber washers from Lowe’s 1 1/2” OD X 3/16”ID, #10-24x...
After contacting Wabco and supplying them with the new abs modulator part number and the plastic vent part number they do not have a part number for the plastic adapter that allows the two to go together. So it sounds like you have to buy the whole thing.
So heres the next questions, when does...
Any have a civilian part number for this broken plastic brake vent? I found one part but can’t find the part that threads onto the vent. Or am I calling it by the wrong name?
The piece on the right is all that’s left the part on the right are two pieces put together that I unscrewed from the one...
I know McMaster is a little expensive and they charge a good amount for shipping but there customer service and extensive details of there products is AWESOME! Peace of mind knowing exactly what you are getting is golden. I’ll pay the extra knowing exactly what I’m getting. Oh and they are next...
I’m running a 12,000 btu mini split AC with a heater(only for back up heat) after 14,000 miles the mini split has performed great even when it’s over 100 degrees. And you can’t beat the whisper quite operation of it. Just wish it could blend hot and cold for the cold damp mornings to keep the...
So I drive it often enough and the solar keeps the truck batteries topped off. While driving, rarely at night, AC/Heater blower motor which is typically turned to low speed is also got two phones charging and a garmin gps, power windows that are just a few seconds, oh the biggest draw is...
I keep considering an alternated upgrade. But mine has done everything as is. It’s hard to justify when everything is working. I could upgrade to the 200 amp and it could fail as well.
Update, installed the new oil pressure sending unit……at idle reads just below 60 psi and moves up with throttle to about 75. So happy that problem is solved. Thanks guys
Great info thanks guys, I traveled 14,000 miles in the last year, never had any water come out of the tanks when I drained them. As far a leaks go, after 2-3 days the system leaks down for the most part.
Not bad enough to dig into the culprit. In my opinion.
So I've been driving this vehicle for over 20,000 miles 14,000 in the last year thinking my oil pressure is great......
But I'm not sure, turn the ignition off and it reads 0 psi as soon as the engine starts it says 75 psi and the needle never moves with RPM.
I disconnected the single wire from...
Back when I did it we didn’t have all this newer information and choices. I actually just recently bought the cables and program to make changes to the CTIS ECU and trying to decide what my optimal pressures should be programmed to for each setting. Weighing 27,000 pounds.
