Here's another LAV150 coming out on the 1033 program. This unit was among several reclaimed by the US during the invasion of Panama in 1989 called 'Operation Just Cause' This one is pretty rough but wont stay that way for long.

Radiator in and stainless/silicone plumbing completed along with the hydraulic circuit.

Just finished the headlight guards...these are made from stainless steel, but will be powder coated matte black.

All the fuel and hydraulic lines are hooked up now, brake lines to follow. Also a shot of the engine that will be covered by the radiator shortly.

Well, today was a good day! I purchased a spare transfer case for my machine from a gentleman who also shared a ton of history and stories when he personally delivered it to the shop 8-) He also gave me a lot of extra stuff too...some of which I didn't know was even available, like this new...

We moved this rig back into the main building to continue the progress. Radiator and fuel system components are on order and the seats are dropped off at the upholstery shop.

I'm sure if there was, I'd probably be the last to hear about it :lol:

I have to agree...I have lots of parts directly related to these vehicles that I have no intention of selling. However, if I've been following a project on here and see where someone is stuck and needs a part that I have to get moving again, I am a lot more likely to offer a helping hand...

The Spicer number on the rubber cushion is 230658. Any help in locating one is appreciated

Here’s what the new bumpers with bolt-on stainless mounts look like compared to the OEM weld-on brackets, along with the new stainless steel support bearing for the steering gear output shaft as compared to the OEM steel bearing.
