Official 2014 SS Georgia Rally Info SSGR14 thread

Sir, I agree completely. This year was Fantastic in my opinion. I stayed in a cabin down the road but still managed to navigate the vendor area 3 or 4 times. I went on 5 trail rides in 3 days including 2 night trail rides. Some of the trail rides I went on were not the "guided" trail rides...

    Brake Booster issue question

A friend of mine has a truck that develops an issue during a long 60 plus mile drive. The brake pedal will get hard to the point that you cannot press on the brake pedal. The truck has a new master cylinder, new short airpack, fresh DOT 5 in the lines, new wheel cylinder's all the way around...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Me and some friends drove ours 180 miles each way to the GA Rally. Minor issues with my friends trucks but I just drove mine on some trails and had no issues the whole trip. The T831 Firestone tires worked great on the trails and I never had to be pulled out of a mud hole.

They all rolled in under their own power. At the gas station in Eatonton, I just needed to get some go go juice. Very happy ya'll stopped for the first breakdown. You don't see people do that too much these days. You and your wife seem like great people and I hope you do decide to convoy up...

Official 2014 SS Georgia Rally Info SSGR14 thread

Atomic, godawgsdv8, and myself made it home safely around 1615 hours. We suffered two breakdowns but worked through those issues and still made it in about 6 hours for an amazing average of 31 mph. Not a bad trip at all and I had a great time visiting with some great friends this weekend.

Not sure but I'm sure the DT Lodge will help decide that. My boy's are 8 and 5 and they rode as spectator's for free last year so they should be fine and free this year but I'll check tomorrow and as long as the internet up there is ok, I'll post back. I think I payed about 125 for camping...

Cabin fees, trail riding fees and all that still need to be done at the Durhamtown Lodge. I'm also told that DT will be checking for armbands before you hit the trails to ensure that DT has been paid. They are always out in the mornings and afternoon but I've been told they will be there at...

I get a chance to ride in another well finished truck. Hopefully Dumpster can provide some back seat room for me this year. I've gone on some awesome trail rides in his gasser Tipper and that man is a class act to be sure. Take care of his Stetson, he needs it anytime he exits his truck along...

Brandon, I just need about 4 hugs if ya'll make it and none from you, just a handshake. Jennifer needs to hug Me, Lee, Joey and Briggs!! She'll have to lean down to hug the last two boy's but she's done that the past few years so I doubt that will be a problem. I hope ya'll get a chance to...

I did get a new cordless 1/4" drive impact today. Alot of people laugh at it's usefulness but I'll bet alot of them will be surprised once they see it in action.

    SSGR14 Engine and Bed Swap

I can help until about 4 or 5 on Friday and will only be bringing some knowledge and hands. After that, I will be getting my wife and boys settled in and conducting trail rides. I'll bet it out of the truck before I leave though.

I browsed through the thread but did not see anything else concerning communications. My group of 3 trucks will be equipped with CB's operating on channel 13 and we will certainly be out on the trails. If we come up with an extra, we may be able to put it at the registration tent and I know...

Mr. Lloyd, My wife is going to be quite upset with you this go around. She loves when you have boiled peanuts to share with your fellow Rallygoers. I guess instead we'll just be thankful for another year and the fact that you can make it. I've got a few friends who are dropping out of this...

Sir, Find a flight into ATL otherwise known as Atlanta International Airport and I'm sure someone from the North GA area will be more than happy to pick you up. It's out of my group's way but I'd be willing to bet that we could re-arrange our schedule. As for driving, my Deuce will be there...
