Huh? Have you personally witnessed below spec main hydraulic pressure on the “main” test port? Less than 218 psi? Refer to appendix B.

    What branch

Go to post 11 and 12 and see if you can find your truck listed. If so that means your truck was US Army which 95% were. Then you have 3 choices, as delivered factory OD (see behind the seat to match), 4 color MERDC camouflage, or 3 color NATO camouflage. Oh and welcome to the site, love the...

    M37 clutch replacement- questions

When you try to put it in gear with the clutch pressed, do the gears grind? If so it is likely the clutch driven disk is rusted stuck to the flywheel.

Changing fluids on cooled differentials in my 1165

Lemme guess, pressurized antifreeze fills the gear case pushing oil out the vent, overfilling all the other gear cases on the vent circuit, until those are full too, by then it's all antifreeze which I would guess on a USMC vehicle will start to geyser out of the vent stack?

    MB17 questions

Looks like a Cummins C160. Usual PT pump. The stepper control was to adjust the throttle in response to additional load to keep the RPMs steady for 60 Hertz. You can likely get rid of that and attach a cable type throttle control, so you can start at idle, and raise the RPMs to suit your...

Stuck on the side of the road! Blew a ton of oil out, not sure where from

I would fill the engine with oil, crank it up, rev the engine with the hand throttle, and climb underneath to see what is dripping.

    Steering problems on MB

Properly rebuilding a Jeep steering gear requires a special ream to get the sector shaft bearing clearance right. Too much and you get wobble and play. I say this because my suggestion to you is throw your mismatch gear in the recycle pile and get a reman unit from one of the Jeep parts guys.

M34s only were produced in 1951 and 1952. Maybe you have a M44?

    Deuce and a half

Wheels are different and tires too. M34 only came in gas engine whereas M35A2 was multifuel.

M915A1 Driveline Locking System Issue/Power Divider

On my 915 the interaxle differential applies power to both axles all the time until I lock it in, that eliminates the differential action between the axles and full traction goes to both axles.

Read the threads on here about this vehicle and you will get your answer. Zero parts support.
