Knowing your plan for the 005, that being a long term solution for home backup power, I would build a concrete pad for the 005 with a shed roof over it. And leave the M200 in RI. Put the 005 in your Dodge to haul it.

Go drive it. Verify it is shifting 1-2, 2-3, 3-4. If it’s not you are in limp mode which explains the 3000 rpm @55. Limp mode is second gear only. Limp mode happens when the transmission has issues.
I had a 11.00-20 NDCC blow out on right front at 55 mph. Truck just set down to the right, no loss of control. Tire was telling me it was sick, lots of unusual vibration, but I ignored it stupidly. Tire was 1964 vintage.
