Welcome to the Outfit!
Kinda like @Ronmar suggested, the best plan is for you to follow the wires that are in your battery box now. We can guess. You can guess on the wires too - but following the wires with your own hands - will help you avoid letting out the magic smoke from the starter or...

Glow Plugs generally work or they don't. Another thing to consider is that half of them might be "dead" and you don't know that unless you test them. If you have good fuel, good injection pump, a good fuel pump, and clean fuel filters - the truck doesn't have to use glow plugs to start. In...

If you decide to be rid of the overspray on the vinyl numbers, everybody seems to have offered good ideas. If you want to lose the vinyl lettering, a heat gun will soften the adhesive and a plastic scraper (Gently Used!) will remove the lettering. Yeah, not your hair dryer - a real heat gun...

I am guessing that you need that extra two feet of space for the new tank? Where the winch is now... And you don't have a possible need to pull something with a winch?
One thing you need to consider is that "capping off the winch hydraulics" could stop the motor dead. Especially if...

The "factory" instructions are in the TM section. Not necessarily what you need though. Recently one of our members @kendelrio added a set of these lights to his girl (5-Ton) named Bertha. His step by step instructions are linked below...

Well... I guess it depends on "just how bent" your frame might be.
I am roughly 2200 miles away from you, so I doubt you need a frame that badly - but I have one. Minus the hydraulic tank and the winch that was bolted to the other side.
Might need to get more specific on exactly what I...

I think the OP question was cost per mile.
There was no official list of what is included.
It may have been a mistake for me to mention "getting it up to spec" maintenance, but it seemed relevant to me.

Congratulations!
So now it's time to go for a legal spin on the roads and highways...
You hit the sweet spot with the local DMV.
All you have to do is say thank you and leave if you encounter an idiot more often than not.
Happy to hear that your transaction went smoothly!

I am thinking there has to be some measure in there for the condition of the vehicle. If your truck for example was straight off the auction block maintenance might be a lot higher initially. Replacing the rubber fuel lines, Replacing the cab bushings, Replacing aging or worn seats, and a...

Rebuilding might be possible.
Maybe a picture of your "park brake switch" might be good.
Just to make sure you are talking about what we think you have.

Yep. I understand the auction. Kinda sad, but I imagine the same thing will happen at my place. I figure there won't be any rush to sell because the house and shop are paid for. Hopefully that will give my poor green toys time to find good homes when I auger in.

Nice looking passenger!
Funny part is that you can leave your passenger in the boat or truck. Ten or fifteen minutes. Then you come back and it is like you are throwing a party... Tail wagging, happy to see you and all that stuff.
Try that with a woman - and there won't be any tail wagging...
