I have a very technical version of a Battery Box Lock in the picture below.
Chain wraps around the frame.
Loop at the air tank drains.
I could upgrade it with some green paint.
Ohhhh and I almost forgot - the locking device design is Patent Pending

Sure seems to me like you might have a grounding problem.
If the air pressure really went down to zero, you would slide to a stop when the spring brakes applied (automatically). That is what those extra chambers are made for on the rear axles.
On these trucks, the drivers may or may not...

And... The absolute worst part of it all is THEY DON'T CARE.
Customers Service - Hah!
Quality of the Service they perform - Nope, Don't Care!
Government Job - Not getting paid nearly enough - Hah!
Somehow or another, we have managed to miss out on helping them remember that they work for us.

It is possible to have a circuit breaker that would protect the winch wiring from chafing.
I would still use protective loom too!
The sample above is power directly powered from the starter.
Juice supplied is to drive a 4000 watt Inverter... (just fyi)

It is a sucky job, but spending a couple of days sitting there in the Co-Driver's (passenger) seat of your truck - with the batteries disconnected - cleaning the contacts would improve your truck in a big way. Using Anti-oxident paste and/or anti-ox spray or contact cleaner and then paste...

One "gotta ask" from me... Boom Support. The tubes on the left and right sides of the boom so that the hydraulics aren't supporting the boom. It's a heck of a neat looking picture but those supports keep things from going wrong. Taking a turn pulling something could cause the rotation...

My version - hand built - no blueprints for my M936 is similar - but since I am perfectly capable of lashing things down, I didn't build sides for mine.
The front uprights were drilled and fitted onto the front windshield bolts. Used inch and a half angle around the perimeter and eighth...

I have a light set very similar to yours. I attach the plug into the rear of the truck and I zip tie the cable to the thing I am dragging and use the cloth straps to affix it to the back of the towed vehicle. Problem has always been a place to properly stash the light bar. Running it like...

@patracy is this something you can fix - upload? (download link is above)
I'm willing, but I don't have the tools.
I feel pretty sure I could keep myself out of SS Jail if you thought I could be given access - and if it would help or be useful to you and/or the group.
Seems that 20mb is the...
.
The file size is 193mb
@Guyfang do you have any ideas other than me breaking it into a bunch of smaller pieces? Maybe a way that you as a Mod can upload it as a single big file?
