My first leak was just plain "old age". The Wet Tank (driver's side closest to the step) was rusted in a bad way. Truck is almost 40 years old and that is way beyond its expected lifetime. Road salt maybe, but it could have been regular old dirt that collected over the years.
Spraying...

First, @msgjd is "dead nut on" with his suggestion that you use the FMSCA website and spend a little time reading. There are rules even though we aren't "commercial" vehicles and having a truck that won't hold air is a bad thing.
What you really need is to have your truck turned off - to...

Thinking that your problem is related to the tie-rod ends. Jack up the left front off the ground. Grab the tire on the left and right and wiggle it left to right... There should be little or no motion. While you have it jacked up, grab the tire at the top and bottom and see if you have any...

I FOUND IT!
The link below is the "how to" guide on rebuilding the fuel valve on a 5-Ton. Old is good! Created back in 2011

I don't know that they have anything these days but 40 years ago White Owl over in Kinston NC was a source. Good guys too. RH Bouligny was one of their customers when I turned wrenches back then.

Well, everybody has an opinion. I am thinking it is a darn good looking truck to me. Best part is that it is DIFFERENT. Not as many of these as a lot of other MV's so it has a more appeal...

Interesting... So, if you had some sort of night vision like it is used today - most times it is in a rifle scope or a set of goggles. We all know about NVG.
I use FLIR for honeybees when I am looking at the side of a house or tree that seems to have a lot of bee activity. Just guessing...

I'm really lovin that pup peeking out the window!
Sounds to me like you have a little work to do - but since you were able to convince the grandson - and he gets to go on some of these camping trips what more could a body ask for... Sure is nice to have some SS brothers to help too!

If you happen to still have that radiator that you and I talked about maybe a year ago - and it you happen to be coming through the big city of Charlotte - I would love to give you money in exchange.

Well...
A red wrench is more than likely what you need.
Acetylene powered torch.
You can heat the nut on the bottom and throw an impact socket on it (wearing welding gloves) and go to town. Looking at the U-Bolt, it appears that you need to replace them especially in picture #3. Guessing...

Most of the MK23 trucks that are being released these days had armor - that was removed. Selling now days with no doors and no top (roof).
Your guberment can't trust you to have armored doors...

Welcome to the Outfit!
And by the way, since it is your new-to-you truck snap us up some pictures! You will be surprised what it looks like in a month or so as you do little projects. There are TM's (Technical Manuals) for that vehicle. The "Dash 10" (the book with a -10 at the end) is the...

Oh yeah...
And don't forget turning the air cleaner "over" to expose the filter so the "engine could breathe better" trick too. Suck up the dirt and pile it up on the airbox...

Welcome to the Outfit!
You may want to gather up the books for your New-To-You truck. The M931 is part of the 939 Series of vehicles and that is where you will find the TM's (Technical Manuals).

Other than @87cr250r 's suggestion about air in the system - is it possible that the suction hose side of the hydraulic system has cracks in it - from the tank to the pump - where it might be drawing air? Or maybe that the suction line might be collapsing? Maybe laying under the truck in a...
