Mine in the past started with just a bad head gasket. Then since I was going to have to buy a head gasket set, I might as well have the valves done. Then since the valves where done I should put new rings on the pistons or they could start passing oil. Since the pistons where out I might as well...
Maybe I will try the "home glass" people then. I went to several "hot rod" shops and they all said the same thing. They don't cut laminated glass. Also no one knew where I could find that molding.
Are you sure your torque rod bushings are in good shape ? If their loose they can cause this kind of problem. In a good bushing, the rubber will help to pull or push the rod into correct alignment. Also are the rods themselves straight ? If their bent or twisted they can cause problems. Trust me...

Just carry some wood blocks if nothing else. Of course a jack-stand would be the preferred safest way.
Also you "never" torque the lug nuts with the truck wheel in the air...
Actually no. Most automotive glass shops use premade windows and cannot cut any glass that is laminated. I've been down this road now for two years looking. Also the molding is totally outdated and no longer used. I've tried every shop and store from NAPA to Summit racing. From "specialty" glass...
