No help needed with M109 Restore..

I wasn't planning on doing any other box work at this time. I was just trying to repair the floor so I can use the truck. The camper mod is years away unless I end up with another truck to use for intermittent personal hauling. (Picking up lumber or large items at Home Depot) Now I have to...

No help needed with M109 Restore..

Be careful what you wish for! Our temperatures and humidity are unbearable for 8 months out of the year. When I lived in NJ we had a lot more comfortable working days in the year than we got in Louisiana!

Well I managed to fabricate the metal track that I will use to patch the cross members for the box floor. I also fabricated some replacement trim that will repair the rusted area by the back doors. I hd to do it in1 foot lengths since that was the only way to do it with the brake I had. It...

Thank you for your offer. I already installed new batteries in the truck. There is another thread that shows my conversion of a 81mm ammo box into a battery tray for the Deuce.

No help needed with M109 Restore..

After waiting a week or two for volunteers that never surfaced I started to tear out the rusted metal sheeting from the bottom of the box. A lot of it just fell below the truck. Other spots required some elbow grease to remove using a hammer and chisel. There were some rusted stove bolts that...

    120lbs of Kitty Litter

You need some bags of concrete mix. The stones and cement will give you traction. Just keep it dry as much as possible. Just remember to wash the truck after you are done. Cement is not good for metal.

Hard top from Indiana to Louisiana

I did not buy it yet. I wanted to find someone to transport it before I commit to buy. Shipping it would be cost prohibitive.

Hard top from Indiana to Louisiana

Can anyone pick up a hard top for me in Indiana and transport it down towards Louisiana? The top is located at C & C Equipment in Indiana and needs to get to New Orleans. I am willing to compensate for the trouble.

Self Locking Door Handles for the Deuce

Locks are meant to keep honest people honest. On a hardtop Deuce I can remove the door lock from the outside with the proper screwdriver...but that is not the point! The door lock is meant to keep kids and showoffs from just opening the door and getting into the truck to play with the...

Self Locking Door Handles for the Deuce

Sounds like you are moving the handles on the inside to lock mode. The doors on the Deuce can be locked from the inside. Usually when you open the door the handle on the inside returns to normal open position. If you turn them past that point they lock the door.
