CHRISTMAS WOOD! Green and red go well together. Joking! Home Depot sells precut studs that come painted red. i think it is done to identify it as precut 92-5//8" vs 96" for 8' lumber.

    My first Expandable! M820

The fact that the outer walls expand out make a camper conversion a bit tricky. You can use it without expanding and get about 8' by 17' room. If you expand it out you end up with a 17' by 14' wide room. You would need to make all the components in the camper modular and movable. They...

Went out this afternoon and ripped out all the lumber (walls) from the inside of the trailer. The lumber is old and twisted and covered with cement dust! I de-nailed the studs and cut them into 4' pieces to use as palate building material. Now I can properly clean all the cement debris from...

    Applying Bedliner to M105A2?

Are the bed liner costings you guys used a 1 part or 2 part coating? The paint store I shop at has a couple of 2 part bed liner coatings. The owner said they are the same as the pros use to line truck beds and hold up much better than the 1 part coatings.

1684 RTA Maintenance Trail Won 12-29-2010

Saturday I arranged with a friend to come over and help patch the holes in the front corners of the trailer. I started early. Now that I looked closely I noticed there was additional damage in the front of the trailer. The spare tire mount had been hit and twisted-puncturing the skin of the...

I removed the unneeded lumber and stated to sweep out all the cement dust off the floor. Looks like they were using the trailer...

I decided to utilize the wood studs inside and insulate it with fiberglass insulation and then either drywall or plywood the walls and ceiling. I will install a window A/C unit and use it as a SHIPPING DEPARTMENT for my Ebay sales. Right now I am using one of the 40 foot shipping containers...
