UPDATE:
I am happy to announce that I have installed the Curt Class IV hitch on my M109A2. Curt Manufacturing 15605 IDC Receiver Hitch"
Automotive; $186.58 18,000 lbs. Load Rating, 1800 lbs. Tongue Weight.
It was a project! I had to move the copper air lines out of the way to be able to...
This trailer is 20 foot long and 8 foot wide 10 foot tall. I don't have any way to get it off a flatbed truck. I am not blessed with equipment like some of the members have. No front end loader, no backhoe no forklift, no wrecker! I don't even have a winch on my Deuce yet!:(
TIM: I had this tread here for over a week asking for transportation needs and no one has chimed in to volunteer to pick up the trailer locally or help transport it to Slidell. Now that my EUC has cleared (too soon) and pickup days are limited to Tuesdays from 8:00 to 12:00 I don't have the...

Can anyone help me recover a 20' box trailer from North Florida and bring it to my home in Slidell, LA. I have the truck to pull it with. I just needed someone to go with me on the recovery so I don't have to do it all on my own. It will probably be Tuesday January 18, 2011. We need to leave...
As Shane said, I did a lot of thinking and engineering before I put the floor back down. I even installed a vinyl barrier between the metal supports and the PRESSURE TREATED plywood so that the chemicals in the plywood would not corrode the metal. The self tapping screws used were pressure...
Thank for the encouragement I appreciate it! I have a small issue to deal with the involves the engine not running properly at higher RPMs. I think I may have put water into the fuel system when I let the fuel go low in the tank while I was working on it. I hope it is just a matter of...
I am planning on covering the floor portion of the insulation with a rubber or vinyl mat or sheeting to protect it from damage. I will use contact cement to fuse the pieces together. This is done to allow for curves and angles in the floor layout of the truck.
