That's neat! Looks a lot like a Porta-Power and the quick connect makes it so you can do a lot other things with it. Not sure that is a great price - but at least there is a name to look at...

Wow. This one bothers me... I clicked the Thumbs Up, and read two or three more articles and I keep coming back to this one.
You definitely need to be making your power draw for 12 volts off the correct battery.
I mean either way you wire it twelve is twelve - BUT letting the smoke out...

Couldn't imagine how much fun it would be to own one of those to drive in our upcoming Veterans Day parade...
With the rocket.
Bridge smidge, I need a rocket!

I know welding isn't normally talked about like guys would normally talk about a woman - but DANG!
That really is some gorgeous metal working. That grill is nicely made too.
Keep us posted with your progress.
It sure looks mighty fine to me!

I don't know what the rules are, but the cause is definitely worthy of our support.
Yes, please post a link maybe? Hopefully several of us can be part of that event...

Don't forget that we have the books here for it... Free download.
More pictures too when you can.
It is a 1971?

That is beautiful work.
I have to say that you really have the skills...
Extra nice! Really good that you were able to offer up this one for a raffle too.

Welcome to the Outfit!
It will be worth your time to grab the TM's (Technical Manuals) for your LMTV. Those crusty books will put you to sleep if you try to read them in a recliner, but they will be your source for solid answers. Downloading them and using Search in Acrobat will expedite...

Bookends... Heck, these young'uns today don't know what a book is.
They do it all on their smart phone.
Thinking that "the smarts" all ran out of that hole in the side of their heads.

Air Ride switch to the off position might be good.
You could also lock the cab in the down position at the air bags.
I would think that the TM would have instructions in the "-10" but I couldn't swear to that.
.
Don't believe any of them would pass. It wasn't part of the specifications.
Notice too that when you are ripping down the highway and overtake a military convoy - they are riding on the same roads that you do. They don't have to comply and don't care.
