Oh, and by the way - that garage is pretty wonderful.
You and your truck could have a lot of fun there if the owner would let you spend a week there getting ready for a road trip.

Welcome to the Outfit!
It looks to me like somebody has done some work to the machine. The tires are "new" and not the standard NDT tires. The inside of the box would have been painted in a "mint green" so somebody did a little something to get the build started. I do have to say that...

Like everybody else mentioned, gear oil and that "sight glass" should be clear so you can walk by the wheels on your pre-trip and visually see the oil in the hubs. Definitely the way to go for easy maintenance. The rubber plugs come in different colors according to who made them and when. I...

Welcome to the Outfit!
You have been given first class advise from @SCSG-G4 and he is a heck of a good guy down in your neck of the woods. Sign on with the MV group that Mike is a part of and you will be informed about parades and events and meetings - all about big green trucks! Reminding...

Best "natural" thing I have found for weed killing - that doesn't cause problems with my honeybees - is a table salt and vinegar mixture. If you have something better, don't hesitate to suggest it!
Happy to hear that the corn crop is doing well.

Just food for thought... I know from experience that wanting something fixed and ready to use SOONER rather than LATER has made me do some not so smart stuff. If you don't do a solid and permanent fix on that roof, you will eventually be unhappy. Yeah, I know. It sucks. But if you halfast...

Welcome to the Outfit!
Sounds like you have been around here long enough to already know about the TM Section. Chances are that you know we are a bunch of Picture Hounds too, so I am patiently waiting to see what you end up with. When your new sweetie shows up, let's start your own thread...

Hi Matt,
Welcome to the Outfit!
Happy to see that you are part of the group! When you get your New-To-You truck - we need to get you setup with your own thread in the CUCV Section. That will give you a spot where you can record how it looked when you bought it. AND as you work along...

That crushed (ground) asphalt is pretty fantastic. I have a nice place beside our parking lot for my small green army. I wasn't really expecting weeds to grow up through it - so if you didn't think about that - you might want to keep some RoundUp or something similar handy next summer when...

Yeah @GopherHill ... I was hoping to hear back from @DMack to hear if the TM helped - and if there really was a lever to push or pull. I don't own one of these yet, but just for fun - I sure would like to have a big honkin fire truck.

Speaking About Taxes...
I'm not sure what I stumbled in to watching YouTube, but lately I have been getting recommendations for Tax shorts. These little sixty second "shorts" assume a $100.000 in earnings. Then each show is for a state. So far, the worst I have found it California at 49%...

Hi Levi,
I agree with @ToddJK about the TM's. Having them will definitely help when you are working a problem. Using them on a PC and using the SEARCH function will help find what you are looking for. Flipping hundreds of pages is intimidating, search levels that playing field a little. My...
