    M1009 value question.

Zero rustproofing and daily driving on salted roads, Much Sooner than later. Depends on if you rinse off truck after each trip and how well you do it. Unlikely if temps are at or below freezing. Having an unprotected truck covered in white road salt spray for an extended period of time, I...

How to have several hours of fun with starter bolts

At least you have both pieces in one spot.

    M1009 value question.

The road salt works fast. Once rust gets a foothold, it’s difficult to stop.

    M101 A3 parts

Mine all work. Just want new ones. Rust has seized two of the adjusters. In the correct position thank goodness. If I had a spare, I could take one apart and see if it could be refurbished and reassembled.

    Laundry list for the m1009

If you don’t drive it often, I would keep tank topped off. A full tank will have almost zero condensation buildup. The more airspace in tank, the more water buildup. SeaFoam also removes water from fuel system.

I also add a quart of 2-cycle engine oil when I fill tank. It keeps things lubed and happy. Engine isn’t as loud and fuel mileage is better. It will enhance the life of injection pump and injectors. Some guys use transmission fluid (which has friction modifiers), but the two-cycle oil is...

    Laundry list for the m1009

Just add one can directly into tank. Two will not hurt it. When you refuel next, add another can. Then a can about every other tank or so. Everyone has their own preference for fuel additives, but I’ve had excellent results from using SeaFoam. It simply works. I use it in everything I own...

    M101 A3 parts

This was taken directly from the M101 series trailer TM. Both of my M101A2 trailers use this exact style lever. Some levers on eBay are close, but not exact.

    Light for floor shift bezel

A pic of the civilian bulb socket would be great.

    M101 A3 parts

Wrong one I believe. The M101A2 brake lever has a pulley attached for the cable. This one does not have it. Typical Saturn Surplus..........Sky high shipping

    Laundry list for the m1009

A can or two of seafoam will help a LOT. Cleans dirty injectors and keeps system happy. The eBay covers are surplus originals I paid $100 shipped for the reproduction. Its very well made.

    Light for floor shift bezel

I’ll find the correct one eventually. Even with two ears cut, it will not lock into place.

Get the Military reproduction grill cover. It works great and is easy to put on and take off as the temps change. I can’t remember the name of the company that makes them, but someone will chime in with it I bet.

That doesn’t look like it will work. The plug has four slots and the shifter slot has two. Ref. Above pic.

    M101 A3 parts

Well I want four. It’s anybody’s guess as to what the demand would actually be. They made thousands of the M101 series trailers and the brake handles are the only thing that’s nonexistent in the surplus or commercial world. I even contacted the trailer manufacturer and was told they don’t...
