Drop in replacemets for them are available. Crazy expensive though.
If you don't care if replacements are drop ins you can get less expensive wire wound resistors and modify the plate as needed to mount and wire them.
A replacement for #48 is a FSOT2011E7R500JE. They are available from Mouser...
From top to bottom...
R10 thru R13 are the burden resistors for the over current circuit and the %Load Meter circuit.
R14 is part of the field flash circuit
CR2 is part of the field flash circuit
R15 is a current limiting resistor for the Battleshort and AC Interruptor indicator lights
CR1 feeds...

If you get ~120 VAC at the convenience outlet with S1 in the START position it will indicate a few things. What's likely good and what might be the issue(s) to look into.

You are correct. In 120/240 single phase the AC output should be on L1 & L3 and not L1 & L2. The fact that you are getting no AC on L3 but get it on L2 points to a wiring issue. The Frequency meter is driven by L3. Since there is no AC there that explains why it stops working in 120/240...
PCB and firmware updated to support 2 wire remote start command from battery charge controller or other device commanding the genset to start (like other AutoStart option available).
Basic relay or switch closure to tell genset to start and produce power. Open relay or switch contact to tell...
Some UPS's have a sensitivity setting on them. If yours have it you may want to set them to be less sensitive.
Since UPS's are designed to instantly kick in they will beep when a load kicks on like your heat pump and the line voltage to the UPS dips for a fraction of a second.
They are going...
You might consider renting or borrowing a 3/4 ton or better truck and a car trailer. The car trailer needs to have brakes.
Load the genny onto the car trailer. Chain it down good.
There may be a respin of the PCB should I find any issues during testing. Hopefully not, but no big deal if I have to.
Software tweets are a given :-)
Haven't nailed it down yet. Need to determine the average assembly time, testing, and calibration time first.
Testing will be more work since...
I may take you up on that kind offer..
Just received the first shipment of PCB's today for the first spin.
Assembled first unit today and plan on some testing next week in my 802.
One could change the wiring to bypass both S6 & S8 all together as far as the Load sensing is concerned.
This would eliminate overloads caused by poor contacts in S6 & S8.
Assume you are running 240 Single Phase it looks like adding 3 jumpers across terminals on S6 would do the trick.
Would need...
In addition to what you listed S8 the Voltage/Phase reconnect switch inside the control cube is in the loop too.
You'll need to do the same with the S8 switch. Need to pull some of the top cover off to get to the guts of S8 to spray it.
When you have the genset running and feeding the...
I did a bit of googling. Found this thread, someone also looking for Hobart 472G brush's.

In the thread it looks like PN WE17EA from http://www.carbonbrush.com/hobartbrush.htm was a...

Glad my post got you looking in the right direction and locating the charging issue with your set.
Appreciate the plug for my 831A Governor Controllers. :)
Creating a replacement for the 831 Battery Charger Voltage Regulators is on my list.
Can you tell me more about the "incorporate the...
The voltage across the White input leads to the charger should be 32-50 Volts AC (not DC) when the generator is running.
If no AC is seen at the two white leads check the 20A fuse FU1. This is the fuse between the generator head battery charger winding and the battery charger input.
Black and...
Yes - The NOCO 7200 will resume charging at it's last charger setting once AC power is restored to it.
I just tested it with my 7200 and a 831 AGM battery. Started charging. Dropped AC power to the NOCO. Restored AC power and it automatically resumed charging at the 24V AGM setting.
