I believe HMMWVs only came tan from the factory starting in the mid-90s. I hope to be corrected if I am wrong. Basically all of what GP is selling is a repaint after manufacture.
That will be the second GP FMTV found to have crossed hoses due to mistakes made by someone within the military! "Sarge, this one cannot be fixed, send it to DRMO."
If anybody is looking for a parts Otter in conus, PM me, there is one near me that was used as a playground structure and is available for purchase I think. It has bad track and has extra holes cut in the sides.
Well, went to look at the Houston MICLIC and although I know nothing about MICLICs, it was apparent this box is designed for explosives. I was just supposed to recon this for the OP, but like any good hoarder would, I went ahead and snagged it, "just in case". Since the box was sealed up with...

Cat made the 16 speed 7155, Northrop Grumman rebuilt them at Ft. Polk. Far better idea to transplant a Fuller manual transmission from a parted modern truck with the same Detroit you have.
Yours is extra special because of the airdrop cab. I was looking at it but have too many trucks already. I paid $5k for mine with winch, non runner. It just needed a slave start.
