Well... I guess that confirms that mice hang out in the desert too.
Nothing specific to being in the big city or out in the country, near the coast, or up in the mountains. Seems that a mouse does what a mouse does - and eventually decides to say maybe offer up a watery contribution as...

Back in the day - they were just fine how it is. Now days, nobody knows what might happen to it as the raw metal it is now... If you decide to paint it, I would mask off the gear ring and the center where the flywheel is attached.
Seems like I remember POR15 Paint, so that is an idea too maybe?
.
I have to agree with the guys... That looks to me like your clutch disk has popped off the rivets on the metal piece that is attached to the input shaft of the transmission. In other words, the piece between the flywheel and pressure plate sure looks "completely shot" to me.
Definitely DO...

I know absolutely NOTHING about the winterization kit and its installation. Do know that the 7155 has a real need for clean dry air though. Especially so if it is cold. Ice in the air lines is bad news for sure. Cold slows things down before it freezes and if the air dryer isn't doing its...

Can we ask a little more? Guessing this is a manual transmission? I just don't see that anywhere in the post. 80w90 in warm climates and it can be thinner in the winter in - say maybe Idaho in the winter. OR, if you plan to park it in the cold weather then the thicker stuff is just fine...

Well, maybe having a big green truck keeps you out of trouble. Might be that for a while, you could take it on a weekly hour long ride and hold onto your wallet for a while just doing minor stuff. If the 6 year old has any interest in going for a ride with dad on a regular basis - it might...

Not sure how old your kids are, but I can say for sure when my guys were younger I wouldn't have been able to afford kids and green iron. With a little more age on me, now I have other people's kids that get to enjoy riding and playing. There is one family with several young'uns and they do...

Almost happy for you... You got a pretty useless piece of paper with that many mistakes on it. And with the money being that high, your local NYZ DMV is going to hold out their hand a lot longer as you lay money in their grubby little paws. :-(

I can't answer for sure about gear reduction starters and the lack of or need for shims. What I do know is that a wrong flex plate or a worn gear on that plate will cause problems. I had a guy across the street from our old building (still there, but I don't see him as often as I once did)...
.
I have already sent an email asking - and sadly my source has no more... The hard top that I purchased about a year ago had an aluminum skin. There is a military part number on a black plate riveted to it so it wasn't a "repro" part. I don't know if sheetmetal or aluminum was your plan if...
.
I didn't have the military version, but the truck that I had always ran cold. If you wanted heat in the winter, blocking off about half of the radiator was a requirement.

Hi Owen,
Happy to hear that your baby Brutus is back home from the truck hospital ;-) . It sounds like finding that corroded line was the real magic. Guess the others were replaced too or inspected? That is scary stuff when something like that happens. Even more so when it isn't obvious...

It is a ROYAL PAIN, but with your cell phone camera - take a dozen pictures of the battery box from every conceivable angle. BE SURE that every battery gets its own picture. Then take a picture of the entire box. If you can't tell what is positive and negative, get yourself some tape and...

Training manual... Last couple of digits tell you their purpose in life.
-10 is the equivalent to the Operator's Manual
-12 could be the LO or Lubrication Order
-20 could be a listing of MWO's
-24 could be Unit, Direct and General support manual
-24P is the Parts Book(s)
There are plenty of...

The absolute MOST DIFFICULT thing about air lines is "following the flow". Ya know how it is...
Air is invisible and trying to figure out what is "air in" and what is "air out" just isn't obvious.
Sounds like @Ronmar got you squared away with a good answer. Never hesitate to plug off...
