Depending on the manufacturer, a lot of LED lights are multiple voltage capable. I have seen 12v to 36v listed in ads. Not that it really matters if the packaging says twelve volt. :-(
Still, like @Mogman said, if they came with those wire adapters I would have expected them to have...

Sooooo Neat! Very nice.
Yeah, it needs a little luvin to make it "purty" but just having one is amazing.
Having touched two of them is almost impossible to imagine happening...

Seems that in our country, there is no regulations on stupidity.
Unlimited speed here on the highways would weed out a lot of ignorant people.
The problem would be the innocent or the "nit wits" that ride in the fast lane at fifty miles an hour.
Culture and History tell us a lot...

Welcome to the Outfit!
You might be a little optimistic on getting your truck by the New Year, but stranger things have happened. Remember, the government will slow down and vacations will be in a "used it or lose it" situation.
Since you joined up, gather up some Technical Manuals (TMs)...

I can claim witness to flying on one engine in a C-130. Either a B Model or a C-Model that belonged to the North Carolina Air National Guard was hauling an activity bus full of JROTC students. Flight plan was Charlotte to Myrtle Beach AFB, with an approach from out over the ocean. Plan was...

You definitely got it right... We like some pictures for sure! That wrecker seems to be in pretty good shape. Nothing quite like having something to lift things with wheels :) . There is a winter gondola cover for those trucks so you can deal with winter weather and still lift and move...

If your decide to use the Trimark, a dremel or a 4 inch angle grinder with a cut-off wheel is easier than a jigsaw. Or it is for me anyhow.
Nice jab on Baldwin too!

Wow!
Seems that Germany has the "hot rod" industry clamped down pretty tightly. Here in the States, if a motor fits between the frame rails it can be bolted in and driven down the highway. I guess that works if the consent of the governed is accepted...
OR maybe some things aren't worth...
.
Definitely agree with @CMPPhil ...
Slippage of the clutch happens in the higher gears first. Accelerating up hill, you will hear the engine speed up and you will smell that burnt clutch smell eventually...

Sad but true. Replacements are expensive and it is what we used to call cheap pot metal.
I have noticed quite a few folks have replaced their door handles with what I call "tool pocket latches". Or the handles like the tool pocket doors on the Astro95 tractor.
There is a thread somewhere...

Short answer is yes. P/N THM 613080 @ NAPA
Source for that information is the 5-Ton parts spreadsheet that is maintained by @simp5782.
Might be worth your time to download it if you happen to be on the side of the road and need a part from a local parts house.
------------- Apparently I...

I forgot to answer up about the Windows Swap File... That is temporary space used on the hard drive to "swap" a program into and out of memory. You can run several things at one time, but most often there are things on your computer that are "open" but not actively running. Swap Space is...

That's a hard life.
But hey, a floor jack and 6 jack stands (NOT from Harbor Freight) and you can still work on your projects in relative comfort. With a "sleeper" you might find yourself between the tandems taking a nap - and not wake up cold.
Slightly envious - yes. Wishing...

I guess you never know where things could end up. I would like to say for sure that the guy who did that work for us so many years ago had a "better hand" than whomever did the sample pictures - but I guess everybody has to start somewhere
REALLY INTERESTING to see that the Ops...

If you have an air leak, trying to find it with the truck running (to build air) is really difficult. With a separate compressor - house air or shop air - that you plug into the front of the truck will help. You plug the external air into the driver's side gladhand with another gladhand...
.
Sad but true. The mechanicals aren't very and the pilots are a bunch of whining weirdos. I keep thinking that the younger folks are eventually going to figure out that they need to hump it a little more - but that doesn't seem to be happening.
Yeah, I think my days of hustling three and a...

Yeah, mine is raw grass in the back of the building - and when I get to work out front - I upgrade to ground asphalt. Either way, plywood under the floor jack is required and cardboard to lay on...
