I have never heard of a Hydraulic head for the PSB series injection pump not fitting any other model. According to the manuals they all fit which can make problems since some don't have the oil passages like others do. Is there something physically preventing them from mating up ? Or is the size...
I understand and I wasn't angry or anything. When I try and explain why I don't want to go to Hawaii most people give me the same reaction and then I have to explain what is going on.
Just for grins and giggles, do you know where the hand wave for "Shaka" comes from, the one with your thumb and...
There is no bypass on these coolers. The TH400 has no cooler loop either. It comes out of the torque converter and then to the cooler. This is also how we usually change-out the transmission fluid. After draining the pan and replacing the filter you would add about 8qts of fluid to the...
The way the factory installs them is really the best way. Why ? Because you will loose most of your transmission heat to the radiator cooler. It is the best conductor of heat after all, copper tubes next to water. The air flow through the aux cooler will not generally bring down the temperature...
I know it sounds bad, but there is a reason why I think this way. My wife's family lives in Hawaii. She was born and raised there. Then after teaching for a few years in Honolulu she decided to move to Washington State where we met and the rest is as they say history ! So whenever her parents...

Hi Tim !
To answer your question short of going into the "Ideal Gas Laws" or "Dalton's Law" of partial pressures, I'll just be using the one regulator. I could use an individual regulator on each axle and gear box to compensate for the rise in temperature of each unit but since the...
Ryan, most all your pictures are unavailable to view. You need to post them here. I cannot tell how you did your system from your description alone. Did you use a manual valve ?
Sounds good but you need to take into account the fuel return from the injection pump. It needs to go back to the correct tank. How are you planning on doing this ?
Actually if a fuse blew in this system your fuel would shut-off. There is too much friction and to much pressure on the one-way valves for the small boost pump to overcome since it was never designed to "suck" the fuel. It takes about 2psi to overcome those valves.
I wouldn't call him a "tard" just uninformed ! I think what he was trying to convey was that ATF especially in the 1970's had a higher coefficient of friction then regular oil did. I know for a fact that if you used Dexron ATF in a Ford transmission that you would loose your clutches in short...
The problem here is that the bio-diesel must be "soybean" based. Most all other bio-diesel sold out there is not and does not contain the properties we want in our fuel. I totally agree with the report though.
