Hopefully the repairs won't have to be done by your beneficiaries... Although reading everything might take that long or longer!
Using just logic, I would think that cutout is using the same mold as the boots with a zipper.
BEST GUESS is that point of the boot where your thumb is would go...

Welcome to the Site Back-in-Black !
Lots of suggestions have already been made and it sounds like you are headed off in the direction of getting fuel or goo out of the tank before you do anything else. BE SURE that you go to the Technical Manuals Section (TM's) and get what you need for your...

Sad but possible.
Would think that the IP would be full of that same "growth" too.
Thinking logically, you would think that ALL the injectors shouldn't be plugged. Guess you have already tried cracking one of the injector lines to see if the IP is pumping out the other side?

Suggestions:
Hate to hear that your truck isn't cooperating... Not going udden udden can make a person pretty grumpy in short order. The backfire sounds like a timing problem. You mentioned rotating the distributor 180. That should have made it not crank at all. It might be worth KNOWING that...

I understand that!
Thankfully the weather here is changing.
Down about twenty degrees to high 70's and low 80's.
I see some work happening here on my projects real soon.

AND a lot less labor if they are already mounted!
Dang I miss our tire guy (from many years ago). He would pull up in his tire truck, roll out 10 tire/wheel sets, knock them down, slip in new tubes and tires, then lean then against the building. The most I ever saw him do in a day was 4...

I was thinking something like Big Brothers - but with Big Green Trucks. That might be a heck of a neat thing. I have a few parents with younger kids that know there are trucks at my place. I made the offer to take their youngsters on a Birthday Cruise. That is really simple and mom or dad...

That is so neat... The clouds almost look like jet stream steering currents when they are bending the air.
Looks like Goose was having a good time too.
Just helping out where I can boss. :)

Don't forget to get the copper washer that goes onto the threaded part - so you don't have a leak!
It is a soft copper washer. Crushes just a little and makes you "drip free".

Another thing to do if you don't have a helper is a small jumper wire. Jump it from one pin to the other on the stop light switch. If the brake lights come on, then the problem is in the adjustment or the maybe the wiring.
.
Yeah! So, the question is why in the world would you need two of those?
ANSWER: Because we can - Right!?
That would be a lot of fun. Build it with some solar on the roof and some batteries and a small generator just in case. A place to hang out in the woods and a fine spot if you just...
.
Well neat! You are up there where all the waterfalls at stuff are.
There is a lot of fun, simple and enjoyable things to do up there.
Couple of really good BBQ places up there too.
My dog really enjoys swimming in the river that runs down along the highway towards Transylvania County. Or...
.
I have had that happen more times than one... Thing is, don't let it get to you. Keep saying what you are saying and eventually it will sink in.
Me personally, I have a 24v Ford box truck. Something in it somewhere (guessing the liftgate) will "vampire" the batteries in about a week...
