Neat! You would require something with a 5th Wheel to pull that particular trailer. Funny how that works... Some folks get a truck and then need a trailer. Some folks get a trailer first - then find something to pull it with :) This one requires a winch to set the drop neck in "travel"...

We cannot legislate nor fix stupid or tired.
Sometimes following the rules helps too.
Been a few years, but we had a sleeper truck run into a bridge abutment on I-85 going through the middle of town. No skid marks. No witnesses. No survivors. Best guess was cruise control and a driver...

Might be, but chances are that at some point in time you said yes to something on your phone that you didn't intend to. That deal where sometimes you try to open a file - and being helpful - you phone will give you several choices for "what app" you want to use to open a file with... AND...

If they test good, there should be no reason for replacing them. Clean them up and gently lay them in a cardboard box with padding between each one as you lay them out. Load them up and let everything sit for a day or two, then do it again. Then hopefully you can gently turn the motor over...

I know the guys responsible for DeMil don't really care - but you would think that they could do better. Then again too, it isn't costing them any more or less to do a hack job than doing it right. Either way to them it doesn't matter...
For all we really know the DeMil job that week was...

I really love that piece of railroad iron for shaping the humps and bumps in the floorpan!
We have a chunk here that we rescued from a rail replacement project about a thousand yards up the road. It is perfect for forming a lot of shapes.

North Carolina isn't much of a drive up from Georgia...
I have a pair of Ferret's that couldn't be hurt by a few drops of paint.
He could learn on yours @patracy and then come on up here to the big city

It would be really interesting to see the LCAC beside the BISON.
Both on the beach and on the water.
Just a SWAG is that the Bison might be 50% larger.
Which naturally makes me want to compare payloads...

Yes Sir. You are Dead (no pun intended) Right!
Pretty much what Chucky had said before too.
Multiple angles of tired caused the problem more than anything.
Well stated Ronmar!

I can remember that Quadrajet sucking big air when the breather top was turned over. Especially on the Buster Boyd Bridge between North and South Carolina over Lake Wylie. Back then it was two lanes wide with solid concrete on the sides of the north side. That made the car sounds even more...

Chucky, That is a nice explanation for what I had been thinking all along. Lawyers do what they do best when YOU (any of us) screw up. Trying to cobble something together for speed control is just asking for trouble. Glad you worked up that piece above (Post #13).

I think you are supposed to drive REALLY FAST through the water (when fording) so you don't have to hold your breath quite so long.
Now if you had that switch...

The LMTV tractor, M-1088 will be really tall too at almost 5 feet. These trucks, the Stewart & Stevensons followed later by Oshkosh were built to have 90% of the same components. Frame rails, brakes, air systems, seats, lights, all the "common" parts. The beds are what gives each model its...

That's a nice looking rig!
PLENTY of room to haul stuff along with a place to hang your hat if you get tired.
Kinda interesting that there is an adjustable intensity from just the light bulb wire to energize the trailer brakes. The ones I have seen and installed were cut into the brake line...

Other than height, what about brakes on the trailer? Guessing that most toy haulers are electric brakes. You will need to install a trailer brake controller - and most of those are for hydraulic (standard vehicle) brakes. You would need an air actuated controller. I did a quick search and...
