Happy to hear that you found the folks at Metal Work.
Sounds like a whole new issue to fix and you have the solution coming in a brown box :)
Seems pretty fantastic to have a neighbor with C15 and Allison experience too!

Never really have understood why people have to lie about...

Really is pretty amazing how many options there are for these plugs. Two wire, Four wire and from other conversations - it seems like local motorpools had personal stashes for projects. NEAT to have the NSN numbers for the standard plugs though!
.
Well, I recognize at least three folks on this thread who work on and/or repair and at least one sells those machines.
Hopefully one of them will chime in after work this evening with a source or a part for sale...
.
Well dang.
I guess now we will get to see how well UPS or FedEx or the USPS will be at getting the repair parts to your house.
Guess it is nice to have friends with spare machines that make power!

It's all good selleckg !
We do our best to be helpful here - but we do have fun every chance we get! Guessing you already know for sure now, but unless you send a PM (Private Message) which by the way is now called "Start Conversation" everybody sees whatever you post. Just to be sure...

Really!? What kind of hogwash is that!
Of course, it may be another problem...
Your truck has 100% ED. Says it right there on the part.
Maybe you could have great fun with the vendor...
Since they have insulted your trucks manhood - ask if they give out little blue? pills?
Maybe to solve...

Only other choice would be to take your cap with you and maybe into a local TruckPro or NAPA store?
Does seem like it would be a common thing to have on the shelf...

Logic says that Scoobyshep is most likely right on both counts - "A" and "B".
Do what you will, but at the moment, you have had 80 good hours of run time. According to the "talking heads" on television, you have another possible few weeks of no power from the utility company. You already...

Pretty sure that we have the TM's (Technical Manuals) for these vehicles and that will help you a lot. Link is below:

Also take and post pictures of what you have.
If anything looks out of place - the guys will speak up pretty quickly. :)

You can go with GelCoat fiberglass resin and maybe a layer of fine fiberglass fabric. If you haven't done it before, it takes time and effort and a lot of sanding and SCRATCHING and the wearing of a mask.
I can't answer the civilian question - but most of the body of the truck is the same...

This is an external pump right? Is it to replace what you have in the tank today - or is this to move fuel between tanks? Or maybe to just pull out and return to the tank for filtering?

I spotted a post yesterday by cucvrus about door hinges. Link to his info is below.
NAPA is a source for hinge pins and the parts were surprisingly reasonable.

Pretty good life span for a battery...
Still, spending that money isn't as much fun as new lights or new seats or things that you see every day.
I ended up with 4 new batteries in my M1088 and that wasn't much fun.
At least with yours, the battery got sick. Mine were stolen and I still...

For that kind of "riding the roads" I think replacing all six tires will make you a whole lot happier as you go on your adventures. If you have a blowout, you will need: wheel chocks, cribbing material, a 20 ton hydraulic jack, a really good battery powered 3/4 impact wrench (or a one inch)...
