As far as the truck, I would cut off the entire frame behind the second rear axle, remove the winches and fifth wheel, paint it yellow, and sell it into construction. Then buy another HET.
All that oil you are burning must be plugging up the muffler with soot. CO poisioning is a real concern, if you start to get real sleepy you are about to die.
The problem looks to be that the 24 volt alt is not charging, and you have not removed the 24 volt loads listed earlier, and those are sucking down your battery again and again.
ARC186 links the correct type breaker. Don't use an AC breaker with DC. ARC186, keep me in mind if you want to part with your second crane, looks like a useful accy for my lmtv!
The -20 says 24V is only used for starting, ctis, air dryers, and trailer lights. If you pop the breakers on those items, the batt should stay charged enough to crank for days to come. Knock on wood.
Oh, sorry, stud piloted is the type lug nuts used on your 5 ton, also called "budd caps" etc. I'm contradicting gringle's take on what you have. He has far more experience than me however.
