That is a nice looking collection! Bet that was a fun run too. Convoy!!
I can't for the life of me understand how these M1089's get their front bumpers "folded up".
The problem doesn't follow only green or just tan trucks...
My best guess is that maybe in tight spot, something gets pushed...
.
An idea might be to consider a local Michigan attorney. Steve Lehto had a Deuce and has several MV related videos on YouTube. My opinion is that he seems to be a heck of a guy and is willing to share information.
.
That is really neat Owen!
Need a picture of you too... In your recliner.
And in a few months when Vivian isn't bobbling around as much - a ride it a big green truck needs to happen!
Congratulations!!

Red Roost Degreaser spray does a heck of a job for me... You might try a spray bottle first. Spray it where you intend to clean, hit it with the high pressure washer and especially if you have a gas burner for hot water...
I had never had the "hot water option" until I borrowed a machine...

Like simp5782 said, turning off the witch will fix it.
It is a green rocker switch on the right side of the dash.
- Two Position Switch.
The CENTER position is OFF.
Down turns on the exhaust brake
Up is called "warmup" (partially closes the exhaust brake). Suggest that you not drive it...

IMO, having a matched pair rather than a molded pair seems better.
Opinions are like other things - everyone has one.
On the other hand, if belt #1 in a pair "goes south" and doesn't wipe out belt #2 you were served notice.
Operating with one belt isn't good, but it might get you home...

Agreed. Paint Pencil is a good solution! What I called "rust drool" on lug nuts and rims are another good indicator...
Because everybody wants to buy or sell something to solve a problem, there are parts for sale. Only difficulty is that the actual pretrip inspection - done by a driver...

Really nice looking truck! It really is amazing how the Police Departments seem to be able to get trucks that aren't beat to death. Godspeed131 , the time you spent going over levels and checking drive-line components was definitely time well spent! That was a long trip to make in an...

THANKS for the part number NDT !
I just ordered several so I can replace mine.
If the old ones clean up, great. If not, at $17 I can still smile
Bumper is already off on my M1089, so it should be a breeze for one...

Thanks for sharing Floridianson
I appreciate the info and discussion!

Wow. That looks pretty nice. I do know for sure that 2000# should be minimum output. I just can't figure out if 2500# should be the minumum. And then the rest of the picture is volume once you know the pressure. That volume number either makes things dog slow or move faster than they...
.
I looked through the TM's and I have not found it (pressure specs) anywhere.
I know I have seen 2000# and I could have sworn that I have seen 2500#.
Wanting hard evidence though - and so far it is only a guess.
Stumbling along through some website, I found oil filled 0-4000 pound gauges and...

Thanks Frank.
I can say I haven't lost a wheel or found a lug nut that was missing or loose.
Another thing to consider: That Pre-Trip Inspection is where you will find that "rust drool" around the lug nut. Where you could catch that problem before the wheel fell off and passed you (me)...
.
Soliciting an opinion...
Most of us are not in a shop running air tools all day long.
I did that kind of work for years (so I do have some experience to lean on).
I still have the same Ingersol air tools that I used then (rebuilt several times over the years)
My experience on torque on...

TimNtrucks also has a large camo net and poles that was going to come this way (in no particular hurry) for me.
Same deal. I am in Charlotte and would be happy to help make transportation for all three (maybe 4) pieces to get one place or another. Happy to help with fuel / time / cost...
